The Sans Souci Leisure Centre is owned by the Georges River Council. BlueFit have taken on the lease to manage the facility on behalf of the council after acquiring the lease from the previous operator.
BlueFit is a leisure facility management specialist, which operates approximately 38 facilities across Australia, including the Hurstville and Bexley Aquatic Facilities and Hurstville Golf Course locally. All employees of the previous management company will be encouraged to apply to work at the facility for the BlueFit Group. New applications are welcome in all roles.
Current entry fees and charges on standard items will remain the same in the immediate term. Fees typically increase on an annual basis by CPI and are approved by the council. A small increase may be seen in the new financial year. You will receive 14 days notice in advance of any increase if you are on a direct debit agreement
Yes. Prepaid upfront memberships will be honoured, and members on direct debit will have the same access they enjoyed prior to transition pending completion of a new Direct Debit Authority. All memberships are currently on hold without charge while the facility is closed and will resume when we reopen the facility on 14th June, 2022. Yes, Sans Souci members will now have the opportunity to access to the Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre as part of a Georges River reciprocal rights agreement between the sites.
