Georges River Council and BlueFit have made the decision to temporarily close the Sans Souci 50m outdoor pool from tomorrow 6 December, to address a maintenance issue.
We recognise the timing is not ideal, with hot days forecast for this weekend, but want to assure the community the 25m pool and other facilities at Sans Souci Leisure Centre remain open.
The maintenance report was received yesterday and until we can investigate further, we have prioritised community, staff safety and closed the 50m pool.
We hope to fix the issues and reopen soon.
We have maintenance underway and and we will update our community once we know more.
The 25m pool remains open at Sans Souci and the community can also visit the Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre.
