Georges River Council has completed upgrades to the Sans Souci Leisure Centre concourse and shared access road in response to community feedback.
Key Changes Delivered:
- Improved Accessibility: Two existing Mobility Parking spaces were upgraded to meet current Australian Standards, and two additional Mobility spaces were created.
- Updated Parking Zones: The eastern parking bay is now a designated No Parking area (except for Waste Trucks, Leisure Centre, and Council vehicles).
- Better Traffic Flow: A new 15‑metre No Parking zone has been added to the waiting bay on the access road linking to Riverside Drive.
- Clearer Road Safety: New sandstone barrier blocks, along with hatched and yellow line markings, have been installed to clearly identify no-parking areas and prevent vehicles from stopping on the shared access road.
